We are offering a special discount to our guests on the Bar Harbor Ferry. This ferry offers a fun trip across Frenchmans and around Egg Rock between Bar Harbor and Winter Harbor on an hourly basis. Round trip tickets are just $19.50 (1/3 off) and can be purchased at our B&B.
DAY TRIPS:
Explore the rugged coast of Maine. There are many working harbors and beautiful views driving up the coast from our inn as well as some wonderful ocean-side hikes. See Cutler, one of the most photogenic villages in Maine and hike the Bold Coast Trail. We are happy to make suggestions and provide directions.
Roosevelt Campobello Island is 2 hrs. away. See Roosevelt’s compound, a small but interesting museum, the nature preserve and the famous East Quoddy lighthouse.
Visit St. Andrews by the Sea, a quaint village with many interesting shops, 25 foot tide swings and the wonderful Kingsbrae gardens, a little over 2 hrs. away in Canada.
